About Us

Work Less, Live More

Here's Our Story

In 2010, we started making products to protect our friends and our families from the harmful effects of the sun. Since then, we’ve grown and gotten a lot bigger… but we haven’t changed. Our Florida office is an old beach house off of A1A in Cocoa Beach. Our California office used to be a brake shop in Encinitas. And our satellite office on the Gold Coast of Australia embraces the laid-back Aussie beach lifestyle. We take surf breaks, but we don’t all surf. We play way too much ping pong during work hours. We like to listen to old albums. We eat kind of healthy. We bring our kids and dogs to work. We make products the way we like them. We hope you like them, too.

Trust The Bum®.

According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2 in 3 Australians will get skin cancer in their lifetime. We wanna change that.

Hawaii Act 104 Compliant

There is still a lot of conversation and debate around the impact of sunscreen on oceans and waterways. As you may know, Hawaii State Legislature approved Bill 2571, which bans the sale of (non-prescription) sunscreens containing Oxybenzone and Octinoxate as of January 1, 2021. This legislation is a big change in the industry, so we want to share more details and information on this important topic with you.
