From the Plains to the Pool with Rattlesnake Milk

Sometimes Sonny’s Porch travels around… like that time we showed up poolside at Waco Surf Water Park.

From the local honky-tonk circuit to the mechanical-bull-like wedges in the pool, we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting zone to welcome Rattlesnake Milk at our pop-up Sonny’s Porch event on opening day of the 2025 Waco Surf Water Park summer season.

We had packs of groms in banana suits throwing themselves down the Wedge Slide—80 ft long, no biggie. And Dusty, as usual, won the most hits on the slide. Just to add to the general chaos of the day, we spotted a surfer catching a couple waves in the banana suit but we never got his name.

Toward the end of the day, Rattlesnake Milk played a chilled-out set of their signature sound to an intimate crowd of stoked fans. Waco, we can’t wait to see y’all again.
